Two terrorists killed, official of political party held in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least two target killers including commander of Lyari gang war Sheraz Comrade group named Wazir were killed during police encounter in Karachi’s Lyari, Baghdadi and Mochko areas today (Monday).
According to details, police conducted a search operation in Lyari, Baghdadi and Mochko areas during which terrorists opened fire at the corps retaliating to which, commander of Lyari gang war Sheraz Comrade group Wazir and a militant were killed. The deceased were wanted in the targeted killings of more than 15 people.
The joint operation of Rangers, law enforcement agencies and police personnel is successfully underway in the metropolis as according to Rangers spokesman, the next strategy would be the detention of culprits involved in the killings of lawyers, witnesses and policemen.
The Rangers official has also appealed the masses to assist legal operation by recording information about the criminals around them.
Meanwhile, a suspect was apprehended from Jinnah Hospital’s emergency whereas the security personnel also held an extortionist in Pirabad.
Further, policemen launched a raid in New Karachi Town and took a political party’s official into custody on a suspicion of having contacts with Indian intelligence agency RAW.
The senior police official stated that Karachi operation was launched by government which is giving positive outcomes as dozens of extortionists, target killers and terrorists have been held so far. He said that stern action will be continued until the end of last criminal.
