LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) candidate Ishtiaq Chaudhry has challenged result of NA-122 by-election in the election tribunal today (Tuesday).

The plaintiff alleged that there had been massive irregularities in the re-election. He claimed that voters list disappeared on the polling day.

Chaudhry Ishtiaq said the Election Commission failed to fulfill its responsibilities and mistakes done in 2013 general election were repeated once again.

He demanded to re-count votes in NA-122.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Ayaz Sadiq won by-election in NA-122 constituency of Lahore.

The seat was earlier vacated after the election tribunal ordered re-polling after finding irregularities in 2013 election.
