Karachi: 2 terrorists killed in encounter with police
At least two terrorists were killed in two separate encounters with police in Karachi on Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, two terrorists were killed in encounters with police in Lyari Kalari and Chakiwara areas of Karachi on Monday.
The dead terrorists were identified as Zohaib and Mahmood. According to SSP City Fida Hussain dead terrorist Zohaib was involved in killing of Pakistan People’s Party MPA Waja Kareem Dad. Large quantity of arms were also recovered from them.
Meanwhile, police have recovered a dead body from Gulshan Ghazi. The identity of the deceased is not yet known. On the other hand police have arrested a target killer after and encounter from Iqbal Market in Orangi Town. According to police, accused Aftab alias Daingo was involved in several cases of target killing.
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) apprehended three target killers involved in killings of at least 47 people. The criminals belong to a political party. The police conducted operations in Liaquatabad, Shah Faisal Colony and Shahbaz Goth that led to the three arrests.
On the other hand, a firing incident near Askari Park claimed life of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation s (KMC) additional director Arshad Hussain.
