Dunya News inter-department cricket tournament kicks off

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dunya News inter-departmental cricket tournament kicked off on Monday amidst much zeal and fervor by the participants. A total of 12 teams will take to the turf, clad in multicolored and unique kits.

12 teams have been divided into 4 pools with 3 teams each. Tournament will commence on October 12 and will go on till October 14. Each side will play 5-overs per innings in a match.

Below are the details by pool for the groups:

Pool A:

-Roznama Dunya + Page Making Team
-I.T Team
-Programming Team

Pool B:

-Dunya News Team
-Sales and Marketing Team
-H.R+ Administration+ Finance Team

Pool C:

-Technical Team
-Creative Team
-Roznama Dunya Reporters Team

Pool D:

-Monitoring & Distribution Team
-MCR+ PCR Team
-Roznama Dunya Fun Team

One team each will qualify from the 4 groups and will proceed to battle it out in Semi-Finals. Qualifier from Pool A will contest with Pool C while the winner from Pool B will compete with winner of Pool D.

The 2 winners in turn will play finals which will be held on Wednesday.
