YDA on strike over row with patient's father in Services Hospital
Razzaq brought son to hospital over stomach issue but resorted to violence over doctors' negligence
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Young Doctors Association (YDA) has on Saturday gone on strike at Services Hospital over row with a citizen who resorted to violence upon alleged negligence of the doctors, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Baghbanpura resident Abdul Razzaq brought his son, having stomach issue, to the hospital emergency but started protesting later on over doctors’ alleged negligence. Razzaq developed a row with the doctors and paramedical staff after which Razzaq called his friends who allegedly tried to harass and assault the doctors.
Protesting against the incident, YDA went on strike early in the morning due to which the patients in Emergency and various wards had to face difficulties. However, the doctors have gradually started to come back on duty.
