ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to withdraw its resignations from National Assembly and Senate after successful negotiations with the government on Friday, reported Dunya News.
After successful negotiations with government delegation, MQM has finally decided to withdraw its resignations while it is also considering returning to Sindh Assembly.
It is pertinent to mention here that MQM gave its resignations in Senate and National Assemble over two months ago amidst alleged targeting of MQM members in operations based against criminal elements in Karachi. MQM has 24 seats in National Assembly and 8 seats in Senate.
