Third-party audit of the project has begun; questions were raised on 'Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath'
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Third-party audit of Nandipur power project has on Monday been started. The questions over alleged irregularities had been raised on ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath’, which finally triggered the audit, reported Dunya News.
A team of auditors from a renowned auditing company has arrived at Nandipur and it will present its audit report after examining all the records. Government had announced third-party audit of the project after questions were raised about the irregularities and corruption. Government will decide over other measures in light of the audit report.
The questions were raised on Dunya News’ show ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath’ over irregularities and corruption after which opposition parties had demanded investigation.
