Prime accused in Kasur scandal Waseem Sindhi aka Battery arrested
24 victims of Kasur child abuse case registered their statements after CM's assurance of justice
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Prime accused in Kasur child abuse case Waseem Sindhi aka Battery has on Monday been arrested. 24 victims of child abuse case in Kasur have so far got their statements recorded before Joint Investigation Team (JIT) after Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s assurance of justice, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Waseem Sindhi aka Battery was the prime accused in Kasur child abuse video scandal and was in hiding ever since the scandal had come to the fore.
On the other hand, Kasur victims have also ended their boycott of the JIT after receiving assurance of justice from CM Punjab. 24 victims have got their statements recorded with the JIT headed by Deputy Commandant Punjab Constabulary.
After the recording of victims’ statements, there is strong chance of progress in the case. Police have already arrested several of the suspects in the case.
