Oil, gas reserves found in Sanghar

Approximately 1.94 million cubic feet of gas and 253 barrels of oil are being extracted daily

SANGHAR (Dunya News) – Oil and gas reserves have been found in Sanghar, district of Sindh. Pakistan Petroleum has started extracting oil and gas from the wells, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.

According to a declaration by the company, approximately 1.94 million cubic feet of gas and 253 barrel of oil are being extracted daily.

Experts have said that reserves of oil and gas are present in the country and if efforts are directed towards extracting the indigenous reserves then self sufficiency can be achieved in addition to saving precious money.
