FIA detects network of 'china-cutting' suspect Chunnu Mamu
KMCs two former Director land Waseem and Najam-uz-Zaman were also involved in the scam.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Law enforcing agencies in Karachi has detected the network of Ahsan alias Chunnu Mamu, the prime suspect in china-cutting scam, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Two of his aides Illyas Sehgal and Mujeeb Siddiqui were involved in china-cutting in Sarjani Town and North Karachi whereas Shahid Sharbi and Hanif conducted the activity in Guddap and Gulistan Johar. Besides this, Zahid Shah also helped Chunnu Mamu in grabbing the land in Clifton and Bath Island.
It has also been revealed during investigation that KMC’s two former Director land Waseem and Najam-uz-Zaman were also involved in the scam.
Law enforcing agencies have also obtained details of Chunnu Mamu’s property which include residential building in Gulshan Iqbal’s University Road, Co-operative Housing Society and Rafahi plots.
