Justice Khawaja asked if the government does not like local authorities governing at grass root level. The court instructed the authorities concerned to publish the laws on Law Ministry’s website. The Additional Attorney General said that the laws would be published on Interior Ministry’s website.

Petitioner, Zafar Ali Shah requested the court to order the ECP to return dues collected for July 25 elections for security. He said that the ECP had collected crores of rupees from hundreds of candidates. Justice Khawaja remarked there is no need to keep funds when the elections were not held.
