US senate ratifies David Hale as Ambassador to Pakistan

The newly-elected Ambassador will take charge after the completion of Richard G. Olson's tenure.

WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – Senate of United States on Saturday has ratified the appointment of David Hale as an Ambassador to Pakistan, Dunya News reported.

President Obama appointed David Hale as an Ambassador to Pakistan in March 2015 however, he will take charge after the completion of Richard G. Olson’s tenure.

As per details, newly-elected Ambassador has earlier also served his duties as Ambassador to both Jordan and Lebanon while he has also been hired as US special envoy for Middle East.
