KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday has banned three-wheelers and motorcycle rickshaws lacking route permit, fitness certificate and registration.
The court rejected Qingqi Rickshaw Association’s plea against Traffic Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and ordered authorities to ban illegal transports.
Rana Faizul Hassan had filed a plea in the SHC stating that traffic in Karachi is being affected by rickshaws that are not registered. The rickshaw association had filed a plea terming raids on DIG’s directives illegal.
