Marvi Memon appointed as BISP chairperson
Memon's new position is equivalent to that of a state minister
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and lawmaker Marvi Memon was appointed as chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program on Wednesday and her position is equivalent to that of a state minister, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, Memon also holds chairpersonship of National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting. She has also issued white papers against the government of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the past.
She has been pointing out corruption in official recruitment in BISP, rental power project, Trading Corporation of Pakistan, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and in Sindh.
