COAS visits PMA Kakul, lays down foundation for 4th battalion: ISPR
COAS was received by IG training and evaluation
KAKUL (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul to lay down the foundation of the 4th battalion and for the purpose of reviewing the training program of cadets, and the possibility of increasing capacity for it.
After reaching PMA Kakul, COAS was received by Inspector General (IG) training and evaluation Lieutenant General Ikram and Commandant PMA Major General Nazir Butt.
ISPR stated that Sharif laid the foundation for the fourth Pakistani battalion for the need of reinforcement within Pakistan Army’s ranks.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS praised the institutional facilities provided to the cadets, adding that there is surely room for improvement.
