PPP's Sardar Hussain declared successful on PK-90 seat
Re-polling was held at seven stations of the constituency on election tribunal's directives.
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Election Commission has declared Pakistan Peoples Party's (PPP) candidate Sardar Hussain successful from PK-90 constituency of Chitral, Dunya News reported.
The result was announced after re-polling in seven stations on April 13.
During May 2013 general elections PML-N candidate Ghulam Muhammad had succeeded, over which PPP candidate filed an objection in the election tribunal, after which polling in seven stations was re-held.
Sardar Hussain secured 246 votes from Mastuj polling station, followed by 231, 256, 73,160,503, and 309 votes from various other stations.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Muhammad secured 127 in Mastuj polling, followed by 352, 160, 196, 80, 293, and 318 from various other stations.
