The Bannu District Police Officer (DPO) Iqbal Marwat passes away in hospital. Iqbal received injury on his head during twin suicide bomb attack near Police Line Bannu. Three bomb explosions were reported in Bannu on Thursday night of which two have been described as suicide bomb attacks.Iqbal Marwat reached the site of the blast after the first explosion. After his arrival on the scene a second suicide explosion took place. He was transferred in a helicopter to CMH Kohat. The doctors at the hospital declared the injured DPO in critical situation. Iqbal was 32 years of age and severed for UN peace keeping mission as well.18 people were killed while 25 were injured during the three explosions in Bannu.
