Encroachment issue: CM orders inquiry against DIG Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to conduct an inquiry against DIG Lahore Rai Tahir who is accused of patronizing a group which encroached on the house of a woman named Zahida Aleem in Sattokatla, a village in the suburb of Gujranwala. 

According to sources, the plaintiff woman Zahida Aleem had moved an application to the chief minister, with the request that Sattokatla police on the behalf of DIG Lahore Rai Tahir and his brother Rai Tariq encroached on her house by force.

The accused also registered a fake and fabricated case against the petitioner woman.

Reviewing the issue, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sahrif has ordered to conduct an inquiry into the matter and a three-member committee comprising Additional IG Muhammad Amlaish, Additional IG Abubakar Khuda Bux and Major (r) Mubasharullah has been formed which would submit its final report within 24 hours.
