Hanif Abbasi booked in ephedrine quota scandal

An FIR has been registered against PML-N MNA Hanif Abbasi in ephedrine quota scandal.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) booked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Hanif Abbasi for acquiring illegal quota for 500kg ephedrine. The FIR in this regard was lodged ANF regional headquarters in Rawalpindi.Talking to Dunya News, Hanif Abbasi termed the case a conspiracy and vowed to prove his innocence in the court.In another development, Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Division Bench, hearing ephedrine quota case on Monday, extended the interim bail of Ali Musa Gilani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin till August 6.
