Meesha Shafi hires legal counsels for harassment claim against Ali Zafar

(Web Desk) – Famous singer Meesha Shafi has appointed Muhammad Ahmad Pansota and Nighat Dad as her legal lawyers in a sexual harassment claim against singer and actor Ali Zafar.
Shafi took to social-networking site Twitter and made the announcement, requesting the media to contact her counsels to get any update on the ongoing matter.
“I have appointed Barrister @pansota1 and @nighatdad as my legal counsels to look after all issues pertaining to my sexual harassment claim against Ali Zafar. Media is requested to contact them to get any update on the ongoing issue.”

Earlier, the singer, in a recent Twitter post, had accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment.
“I have been subjected, on more than one occasion, to sexual harassment of a physical nature at the hands of a colleague from my industry: Ali Zafar. These incidences did not happen when I was young. or just entering the industry. This happened to me despite the fact that I am an empowered, accomplished woman who is known for speaking her mind! This happened to me as a mother of two children,” she wrote.
