(Web Desk) – A former contestant for beauty pageant Miss Guatemala and model was gunned down after she dropped her daughter at the school.
The 32-year-old Rosa Otilia Ramirez was gunned down in bright daylight near her daughter’s school by armed man. CCTV video of the incident showed that the unknown person walked up to her and opened fire from behind her head, as reported by DailyMail.
Police have suspected that the killer is named Ramirez, describing the incident as “crime of passion”.
Rosa The incident occurred on January 19 and Ramirez was unaware that an armed person was following her from home. The killer escaped the horrific crime scene while the body of Rosa laid on the pavement.
Guatemalan media showed the CCTV footage of the incident while appealing to police and other law enforcement departments to catch the culprit behind murder of Miss Guatemala contestant.
It is worth highlighted that the Guatemala is among the most violent states in the world. During 2016, it had 4,500 reported homicides.
