'Parchi' first Pakistani film to release in Saudi Arabia

In an exclusive, 'Parchi' cast conversed with dunyanews.tv at Dunya News HQs today.

(Web Desk) – ‘Parchi’, an upcoming Lollywood product starring Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan in the leads is going to be the first Pakistani film to release in Saudi Arabia after progressive move of the Crown Prince.


Hareem Farooq reveals Saudi Arabia release:


Talking to dunyanews.tv at Dunya News headquarters (HQs) in Lahore, the cast of the upcoming flick slated for a release on January 5, said that ‘Parchi’ is going to be the first Pakistani film to release in ‘conservative Saudi on a shift’.

In addition to Saudi, the film is to release in the United States (US) on January 12 and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Jan 5, same as Pakistan.

Through the conversation,  Eman  aka Hareem Farooq said that promotions are hectic while Ahmed Ali Akbar claimed to be the most burnt out of the entire bunch.

The film also stars Ahmed Ali Akbar, Usman Mukhtar, Faizan Sheikh, Shafqat Cheema, Mojiz Hasan and Faiza Saleem among other actors.

Saudi Arabia has lifted ban on cinemas after some 35 years following Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman s move to making the state open to progressive ideas.
