(Daily Dunya) – International famed Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra met Queen Rania as she said goodbye to Jordan.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) ambassador posted a picture from their meeting on Twitter and said that she felt fortunate on meeting the queen.

The actress wrote, “Queen Rania is a true inspiration. Her tireless efforts to help those in need comes straight from the heart and has always been consistent.. as a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for Children, she leads by example as is so evident by the countless programmes for children that she is involved in. She does this all with such grace and calm. The meeting and our discussions, further reiterated my commitment to help children the world over... because every child matters, no matter where they come from.”

Priyanka also thanked Jordan for the hospitality and vowed to visit the country soon.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra visited Syrian refugee children in Jordan, who were displaced because of the civil war.

"We need to take it into our own hands because this is our world and we only have one of it," Chopra told The Associated Press at the end of her first day in Jordan.

Without sufficient support, "this can be an entire generation of kids that could turn to extremism because they have not got an education," she said.
