Pakistani movie 'Yalghaar' crosses Rs 10 crore mark
The movie directed by Hassan Rana made significant success on box office
(Web Desk) – Pakistani mega budget movie Yalghaar has grossed over Rs 10 crore after a week of its release. The film directed by Hassan Rana and starring Humayun Saeed, Shaan Shahid, Ayesha Omar and Bilal Ashraf.
A number of stars helped in promoting the movie which was released on Eid-ul-Fitr. It should be noted that Bollywood movies were not released this Eid. Salman Khan starrer Tubelight was pulled back to give way to Yalghaar and Mehrunisa V Lub U.
A local website claimed that the movie has secured the second biggest week-1 of 2017 in Pakistan after Fast 8. It is based on the true story of Pakistan Army s Swat Operation. The movie highlights the sacrifices of soldiers of the armed forces in battling the menace of terrorism. It also pays tribute to slain children of the 2014 APS attack.
On the other hand, other movies including Mehrunisa V Lub U, Transformers and Pirates of Caribbean also did good business.
