KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – Famous Pakistani actress Naila Jaffery who is battling last stage cancer has refused to take government‘s aid in a protest against secret meeting of PM Nawaz with Indian businessman in Murree.

The actress said that she had also applied for Rs 0.5 million from President Mamnoon Hussain’s Artist Welfare Fund but now she does not want it.

“I cannot accept a dime from the government that entertains people from the very country that has been plotting against us, our interests and our people,” she added.

Earlier on April 28, a three-member delegation led by Indian steel tycoon Sajjan Jindal held a meeting with PM Nawaz Sharif in Murree despite the fact that they were granted visa to travel to Lahore and Islamabad only.
