(Web Desk) – Lapping on every little leak and news, film buffs especially franchise fans have their ways to celebrate the stars they adore.
When cine-goers are not getting enough of Charlize Theron in ‘The Fate of the Furious’ besides Dominic Toretto and the big gun, Dwayne Johnson, an online fan art, a poster to be precise, proposed that Matt Damon was to helm the franchise forward.
Tyrese Gibson who plays Roman Pearce in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ films posted a picture earlier proposing that Matt Damon was to star in Fast 9.

Off course, Matt Damon fans worldwide lapped up the ‘news’ about the next film whilst the latest installment is still in the theatres.
However, amidst racing nerves and speculations, it was cleared that Matt Damon starrer was a fan art and there is no truth to the online poster.
Tyrese is a big Matt Damon fan so much so that he went on record in 2015 to say: “For the last couple years, I’ve been talking about Matt Damon. I would love for Matt Damon to come in and be a part of this franchise. Matt Damon is already a part of the Bourne franchise, which is also a Universal property, so it’d be easy to bring him right over.”
For all the fans, once and for all, the production house is not in talks with Matt Damon to star in the ninth installment of the franchise.
On the other hand, the eigth installment of the Fast series titled ‘The Fate of the Furious’ is racing to box office records. It has already left its competition in dust at the North American box office.
