The Pakistani actress raised voice against LSAs for not acknowledging her for 12 years

(Web Desk) – Pakistani diva Saba Qamar has reportedly decided not to attend the Lux Style Awards after the trailer of her debut Bollywood movie “Hindi Medium” sparked fame. She is protesting against the award show for not acknowledging her for the past 12 years.

Even though the 33-year-old actress has been nominated in three different categories, she will not attend the only popular entertainment award show in the country.

The actress believes that the award show had decided to honour her only because of the Bollywood entry. “Everyone has started praising me after the Indian stamp,” she added.

Saba is starring opposite Irrfan Khan in a Bollywood upcoming movie “Hindi Medium” which is set to release on May 12. The comedy-drama project is directed by Saket Chaudhary and features a plot that revolves around a couple who wants to admit their daughter in a renowned English medium school.

While complaining about the standards of acknowledgment in Pakistan, she said that she had been working in the country since 2004 but was never approached by any award show or brand during this time for a reward.

However, after the entry into Bollywood, Saba says ‘every award show and brand is running after me’.
