Indian actress Sara Khan bags role in next Pakistani drama 'Laikin'

KARACHI (Daily Dunya) - Despite the ban on Pakistani artists in India, the drama and film industry in Pakistan is playing a positive role to maintain peace in the region and eliminate terrorism.

Indian artists are showing interest in Pakistani films and dramas whereas our own drama and film producers do not feel shy in working in music and other fields in the neighbouring country.

Last year, late Indian actor Om Puri came Pakistan to work in a film whereas other such as Raza Murad and Pooja Bhatt arrived for tourism purpose.

Recently, Indian actress Sara Khan who shot to fame from famous show Bigg Boss worked as a lead in Sana Shahnawaz’s drama ‘Bey Khudi’ opposite Noor Hassan.

The actress returned to India after completing the project but has now returned again in Karachi as she has been offered another drama ‘Laikin’ and is currently busy in its shoot.



Moreover, many other production houses have also contacted her.

Sara says that she is enjoying working in Pakistani dramas. She pronounced that art has no boundaries and artists are playing their role in cultural peace.

Among Sara, ‘Laikin’ cast includes Atiqa Odho, Farhan A. Malah, Junaid Alam, Nasreen Qureshi, Firdous Jamal, Sidra Jabbar and others.
