Arshad 'chai wala' enters Sexiest Asian Men list 2016
Making a surprise appearance in the list, Arshad Khan bagged the 31st spot.
LAHORE (Web Desk) - The blue-eyed tea-seller from Islamabad has made it to the 50 sexiest Asian Men of 2016 list.
The poll is conducted by Eastern Eye – a London-based weekly publication.
Making a surprise appearance in the list, Arshad Khan bagged the 31st spot.
“Impoverished teenager Arshad Khan broke the Internet earlier this year when his photograph serving tea sent females around the world into a frenzy. He has since been plucked from obscurity and gained global media attention along with a new career in modelling. He makes the list for representing the everyday man and for showing the most impossible dream can come,” Asjad Nazir, of Eastern Eye told PTI.
Arshad Khan, the ‘dreamy-eyed’ chai wala found overnight fame after being snapped by photographer Jiah Ali working at a bazaar in Islamabad.
The 18-year-old has since appeared on various TV shows and bagged different modeling contracts.
Arshad also made his runway debut at the Bridal Couture Week (BCW) 2016 and appeared in a music video.

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik topped the list for the second time in a row whereas Indian actor Hrithik Roshan came second.
