Arvind Kejriwal thanks Ghulam Ali for agreeing to perform in Delhi
The concert in Mumbai was cancelled after Shiv Sena threatened Ghulam Ali.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Two days after cancellation of Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali s concert in Mumbai due to protests by Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday morning announced that the veteran singer will indeed be performing in the Indian capital in December.
In a message posted on Twitter, Kejriwal said he is big fan of Ghulam Ali and thanked him for agreeing to perform in Delhi.

The concert in Mumbai was cancelled after Shiv Sena threatened to disrupt it warning that no artist from Pakistan will be allowed to perform in the city.
"Such controversies spoil people s sur (note). I am not angry, I am very hurt. In love, such things don t happen," Ghulam Ali reacted.
Earlier on Thursday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee offered to host the concert of Pakistani ghazal singer.
"Music has no boundaries. Music is the rhythm of the heart. Ghulam Ali concert can be held in Kolkata", Banerjee, who is now on a visit to Bhutan, tweeted. "We will make all arrangements," (for the concert) she added.
