Gulab gang Interesting without the Khans, says Juhi Chawla
She believes that good script and her co-star Madhuri are enough to make the film interesting.
MUMBAI(Web Desk) - According to Indian media reports Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla claims that her forthcoming film ‘Gulaab Gang’ can work well at the box office without the presence of the Khans including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.
The 46-year-old actress believes the good script and her co-star Madhuri Dixit are enough to make the film interesting.
Chawla was quoted as saying, “we don t need the Khans. When there is Madhuri [Dixit] and an interesting script, you don t need the Khans."
However, a source clarified that the comment was not made with the intentions of insulting the Bollywood superstars.
The film directed by Soumik Sen, is about a group of women from Uttar Pradesh s Bundelkhand region who revolt against social injustice.
Chawla earlier revealed that it was the presence of Madhuri in the film which convinced her to be a part of the project.
