IIUI brawl: Court approves four-day physical remand of 16 students
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The judicial magistrate on Friday has approved four-day physical remand of 16 students arrested in connection with brawl at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
According to details, the court has directed the authorities to present the accused on December 17.
Earlier, one student was killed while eight others sustained critical injuries at the IIUI after a fight broke out between two student unions.
Following the failure of the police to handle the matter, Rangers arrived at the spot and took the situation in control.
Deputy Commissioner informed that Rangers have been posted at the university, and search for the culprits has already initiated.
