Man caught with 100 tola gold in shoes at Peshawar airport

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Security officers on Wednesday have foiled an attempt to smuggle 100 tola gold worth Rs5.5 million at Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar and arrested the suspect.
According to Customs Collector Gull Rehman, the gold was being smuggled abroad by hiding it in the shoes. He said that a suspect identified as Tahir Ali has been detained.
The officer further assured to have launched an investigation into the matter.
