Ahsan Iqbal directs security depts to play role in preventing cybercrime
Interior Minister also instructed to unveil the names of those involved in illegal activities.
ISAMABAD (Daily Dunya) –Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take stern action against those who are spreading anarchy on social media.
In a statement, Ahsan Iqbal said that country’s enemies are busy in igniting chaos among the people for which the cybercrime has to be stopped.
He also ordered to sack corrupt officials in FIA and introduce new technology to overcome crime rate on social networking sites. He continued that human trafficking cases are damaging country’s name at international community.
Interior Minister also instructed to unveil the names of those involved in illegal activities.
On the occasion, the Director General FIA, Bashir Memon gave a detailed briefing to the Interior Minister.
