Customs officials foil heroin smuggling bid, arrest suspect at Karachi airport

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Customs officials have foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin worth crores to Saudi Arabia at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

The officials conducted a raid at the airport and arrested a passenger identified as Abdur Rehman who was en route to Saudi Arabia on Dubai flight FZ336. The security personnel claimed that high quality 1.5 kg amphetamine was recovered from the hand trolley of the suspect.
