Interpol arrests two criminals in Abu Dhabi, hands over to Punjab Police

Raja Ubaidur Rehman and Faqeer Wali were arrested by Interpol in Abu Dhabi

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two wanted criminals have been handed over to Punjab Police by Interpol after their arrests in Abu Dhabi, Dunya News reported Friday.

Raja Ubaidur Rehman and Faqeer Wali were arrested by Interpol in Abu Dhabi. Rehman was wanted by police in Lahore while Wali by Bahawalpur police.

Rehman was shifted to Garden Town Police Station Lahore from Islamabad’s Benazir International Airport while the other to Faqeer Wali Police Station Bahawalpur.

On the other hand, a local named Muhammad Ibrahim hailing from Timargrah was apprehended at Islamabad’s airport for his name being in the Exit Control List (ECL).

Ibrahim was boarding a flight to Abu Dhabi however, he was handed over to anti-human smuggling cell.

Separately, another Abu Dhabi-bound person named Usman Meeran was offloaded for incomplete documents.
