Man smuggling currency at Karachi airport detained by custom authorities
The dollars were placed amidst other currency buried down in the suspects shoes.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Custom officials at Karachi airport detained a man on Friday trying to smuggle $21,000 abroad.
According to details, the suspect Fahad was a passenger of Dubai bound flight. During body check on the security counter, officials recovered the currency hidden in his shoes.
The dollars were placed amidst other currency buried down in the suspect’s shoes.
Custom authorities have initiated investigation from the detainee whereas it has been revealed that in the past he had also committed many such activities and had smuggled money to other foreign countries.
Passengers are usually seen trying to carry drugs, gold or currency abroad illegally but are nabbed by the security officials during checking.
