Karachi Kings will get a walkover if the match is cancelled due to rain.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – In the second eliminator between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, the former will get a walkover if the match is cancelled due to rain.

Presently, the match has been delayed due to wet outfield. Match officials are inspecting the ground for viability as attempts to dry it are in full swing. The toss is expected to take place in a short while.

The winner of today’s match is set to play final against Islamabad on Sunday in Karachi. However, due to rain, there is a fair likelihood that the match is cancelled in which case, the Karachi Kings will get a walkover due to their net run rate being higher than Peshawar s.

In another possibility, if the match is played and the rain strikes again during the defenders’ inning, the match will be decided according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
