Multan Sultans unveil the first look of official kit
The sixth PSL franchise will play in third edition wearing black shirt with yellow borders
(Web Desk) – Multan Sultans has unveiled the first look of its official kit by a post on social media. Players of the sixth franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will wear a black shirt with yellow borders.
Fast-bowling legend Wasim Akram has been appointed by the management as director of cricket operations. During their ceremony yesterday, he said, "PSL third edition will be more exciting as it will have Multan Sultans, The sixth team will also enthrall the crowd because there will be more games played home." Akram had earlier been with one-time winner Islamabad United.
The ceremony also saw logo unveiling. Services of ex-Australian cricketer Tom Moody will be taken as head coach.
The franchise is owned by a Dubai-based organization, Schon Group. They have an eight-year contract to run Multan Sultans, which was worth USD 41.6M . The team was purchased for an amount larger than Karachi Kings that was the most expensive franchise during the first auction two years ago.
