DUBAI (Dunya News) – Former West Indies captain Darren Sammy on Saturday said that he has briefed the World XI squad today about his recent visit to Pakistan as captain of Peshawar Zalmi, reported Dunya News.

Sammy said that he is yearning to come to Pakistan to eat the delicious food. He was addressing a press conference held in Dubai. The star all-rounder said that he will have to take coaching to learn Pashto.

He asserted that World XI tour will open the gates for cricket in the country. “After the success of this tour, West Indies tour to Pakistan can be held with success too,” he hoped.

Peshawar Zalmi captain gave his best wishes for the people of West Indies who are affected by the tropical storm Irma. He said that Hassan Ali and Shadab Khan are his best friends. Earlier in March, Peshawar Zalmi s captain Darren Sammy had visited Lahore and went back as a victorious captain.
