Umar Akmal took to twitter to express latest views.

Lahore (Dunya News)- Discarded 27-year-old Umar Akmal, in series of tweets, once again unleashed verbal onslaught while accusing head coach Mickey Arthur of intentionally failing him in the fitness test held in England.

“I would seek apology from nation and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) if Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mushtaq Ahmad swear upon Holy Quran that Mickey did not abuse me,” tweeted Umar.

The junior Akmal claimed that senior sports journalist Syed Yahya Hussaini informed him that Azhar Ali and Mohammad Hafiz, being scared of losing their place in the national side, didn t desire his inclusion in playing-XI.

Keeping verbal onslaught up, Akmal accused Arthur of plotting a ‘dummy fitness test’ in England and claimed that he was sent home on charges of poor fitness in a premeditated move. “This confirmed my qualms that a conspiracy was being hatched,” asserted discontented Akmal.

Akmal vowed to soon give details about allegations leveled against him and pledged authorities not to end his career through lies and politics.

Earlier in a press conference, Umar Akmal claimed that head coach Mickey Arthur unfairly chastised him and asked him to leave the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in a confrontation, branding him undeserving.

He said that he wishes to approach the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) against the coaching staff which according to him unfairly dropped him of Chmapions Trophy 2017 squad. He claimed that he was dropped for reasons other than fitness, that he is not sure of.

Umar Akmal said that if a player is dropped out of series for whatever reasons, it does not warrant for the coach or any staffer to humiliate him when he is making efforts to better his game. He requested the PCB chief to take notice of the incident and keep a check on the coaching staff, primarily the head coach.
