Najam Sethi elected unopposed as PCB chairman
Najam Sethi was also the chairperson of PSL.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A special meeting of the Board of Governors of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was on Wednesday held at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore, and Najam Sethi was elected unopposed as the chairman of the board.

Sethi was earlier appointed by the then prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif for the chairmanship of PCB along with Arif Ejaz. Arif was no threat to sethi’s post as he is considered his right hand who assisted the newly-elected chairman in Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well.
It is worth mentioning here that Najam Sethi was also the chairperson of PSL, and will now hold both the posts. Furthermore, former PCB chairmen Khalid Mehmood and Tauqir Zia had also shown their support for Sethi, as both were of the opinion that he is a good administrator and can run the board in a good manner.
