Wasim Akram bids adieu to Islamabad United
Wasim Akram is thinking to join Multan Sultans.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan skipper and legendary left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram has bidden adieu to Islamabad United as their mentor, and is thinking to join Multan Sultans as per sources.
Multan Sultans are the sixth team that have been included in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and will make their debut in the third edition of the league next year.
Islamabad United had won the first edition of PSL under the mentorship of Wasim Akram. The team had triumphed in 11 matches out of 20 during the tenure of 51-year-old.
Furthermore, former Pakistan and current United captain Misbah-ul-Haq will be the mentor as well as the skipper of his team for the upcoming season. It has also been learnt that United are thinking to appoint Younis Khan as their memntor.
