Mohammad Hafeez likely to become captain of Multan Sultans for PSL 3

Mohammad Hafeez is strong candidate for the captaincy of the team.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Star player Mohammad Hafeez is likely to take over the captaincy of sixth Pakistan Super League (PSL) team ‘Multan Sultans’ for third edition as the authorities are considering his name.

Sources told that former Sri Lankan batsman Mahela Jayawardene will be the vice captain of the team whereas Australian player Michael Clarke is a strong candidate for coaching.

It is to be mentioned here that Mohammad Hafeez presented Peshawar Zalmi in previous editions.

One player each from every team and category will be selected for Multan Sultans. It was also learnt that Shoaib Malik was earlier contacted for the captaincy but he refused to supervise new team.
