India-Pakistan CT17 final, an all-time high for bookies
ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final has already been sold out, betting could go up to INR 1000 crore

Indian reports claimed that bets worth up to INR 2000 crore could be placed on the exciting contest. While bookies called India to be favourites to win the match, there is less margin on the reward for betting on the two teams. Betting 100 rupees on Virat Kohli XI would become Rs.147 if they win. As Pakistan is the lesser favourite team, betting money on it will result in a bigger reward. As much as 300 rupees can be earned on betting Rs.100 on the green shirts. Betting will be on its all-time high also because India and Pakistan are facing each other in a final of ICC event after nine years. They last met in the 2007 World T20 final and everyone can recall what happened in that thrilling contest. Misbah-ul-Haq fell short of bringing home the trophy in a match that will be remembered for ages.
Moreover, all tickets for the contest have been sold out. As much as 80 percent of the tickets are owned by the Indian fans, and Pakistanis are facing difficulties to buy tickets. These tickets are being sold in black, the price of Rs.10,000 ticket has now reached PKR 0.1 million.
