Summary The Pakistan pacer got injured during India group-stage match and was ruled out of CT17
(Web Desk) – As the El Clasico of cricketing world is on the cards, an angry fan has put Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz up for sale on eBay. He had received the highest bid of AUD 610 which is Rs.48,672 ($464.29), before the e-commerce website removed the mocking ad.
Well, his value looks a touch higher as compared to his performance in his last game in which Pakistan faced to put an impressive show and lost to India in a dreadful manner. Wahab Riaz suffered from ankle injury during the match. He was hospitalised straight away and recommended one-week rest by the doctor.

Having being ruled out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, the left-arm bowler was replaced by the 25-year-old Rumman Raees, who made his debut in the England clash and helped dismantle their batting order. He was the third debut cricketer for the green shirts, after Fakhar Zaman and Fahim Ashraf.
Coming back to the ad, it was posted by an Australian user. In the item condition column, he wrote, “used before adding some wear and tear and hairy.”
The fast-bowler consumed 87 runs in the big match against India which made him the most expensive bowler in the Champions Trophy history. Having been through all this, Wahab Riaz still received 60 bids on his listing. The high bid of 610 Australian dollars would have surely cheered him up a bit.

The disgruntled ad poster expressed all his aggression in the ad by saying his item would make a good paper weight or garden gnome. “I don’t need him anymore,” was the reason he wanted to sell the fast-bowler.
Pakistan is all-set to face the mighty India in the final match of ICC Champions Trophy on June 18. While Wahab is currently not playing in the team, his position has been very well covered by Junaid Khan and Rumman Raees. He had earlier apologised for his bad performance in the India game as he took to Twitter.
My performance has let down my nation n team, Im sorry sp to PCT fans. I tried my best but it was not good enough n I m heart broken as well
