PSL welcomes new franchise, Multan becomes 6th team
Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, Karachi are the pre-existing franchises in PSL
(Web Desk) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) has just gotten its sixth franchise on Thursday for its 2018 installment.
PSL administration announced the induction of another team in a message posted on Twitter.

Najam Sethi, Chairman of the league had asserted earlier this year after successfully organising the final match of PSL 2017 in Lahore on March 5, that more teams will participate in the 2018 edition of PSL.
Quetta Gladiators took to Twitter to congratulate the group.

Days towards the final match in Gaddafi Stadium saw a lot of confusion among fans as there were reports suggesting PCB going back and forth with the decision over insecurity-wracked atmosphere following a suicide attack on Mall Road outside Punjab Assembly claiming over a dozen of lives.

However, the provincial as well as the federal government permitted holding the final venture in Lahore over PCB’s report.
Though some star players of Quetta Gladiators including Kevin Pieterson and Brandom McCullum refused to arrive in Lahore and did not take part in the match, Gaddafi Stadium was packed with cricket fans and PCB claimed credit for reviving international sport in Pakistan.
