Misbah captained 56 Test matches for Pakistan, with the Pakistani team emerging victorious in 26 of them.
Misbah made a century in 56 balls, a feat never achieved by a Pakistani batsman.
The ex-captain also has the world record of making a half century in 21 balls to his name.

In a Test match against Australia in 2014, he hit centuries in both innings.
Misbah has also been the oldest player to lead the Pakistani team.
He also holds the world record for making a century at the age of 42.

The middle-order batsman is the first cricketer in history of cricket to make more than 5,000 runs without making a century in One Day Internationals.
After the fixing scandal of 2010, Misbah faced the challenge of the England tour in 2016, not only defeating England in their home ground, but also bringing Pakistan’s Test ranking to the top, which resulted in the ICC Test Championship maze coming home.
