A meeting of top officials decided today to oppose the new ICC constitution

(Web Desk) – Reports suggest that Board of Control for Cricket in India is seeing pulling out of Champions Trophy this year as its objection to new ICC constitution.

The new International Cricket Council constitution seeks to limit share of India in resources which is not going well the BCCI authorities.

A dedicated meeting of Special General Meeting today that went on for two hours was attended by acting president of the board, CK Khanna, BCCI CEO Rahul Johri and joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhry among others.

The top officials decided in the meeting to oppose the new constitution.

There are reports claiming of the Indian board to be treating pulling out of Champions Trophy in June as an option.
