Emirates Airline T20 to be held in Dubai this month
The sports event is to be held on March 23 and March 24
(Web Desk) – Emirates Airline T20 is to return in 2017 and for the first time the two-day fixture will be hosted by Dubai Sports City ICC Academy, emiratest20.com reported on Sunday.
Reportedly, the sports event is to be held on March 23 and March 24 and a total of six teams will participate in the fixture.
Six teams that have been confirmed for the tournament are Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars of Pakistan Super League, Durham Jets, Birmingham Bears, MCC Emerging England XI, Lancashire Lightning who are 2015 T20 Blast champs.
Some of the biggest names of the international sport are to participate in the fixture namely, Shahid Afridi, Brendom McCullum, Darren Sammy, Jonathon Trott, Ian Bell and Jimmy Anderson.
